Mike Batayeh, Breaking Bad actor, dies aged 52



Mike Batayeh, who played the role of Victor in the hit TV series Breaking Bad, has died aged 52.

Batayeh's family confirmed the news to US media, saying he died suddenly at home in his sleep due to a heart attack.

Batayeh was born in Los Angeles in 1971 and began his acting career in the early 1990s. He appeared in a number of TV shows and films, including The X-Files, CSI: Miami, and The Fast and the Furious.

However, he is best known for his role as Victor in Breaking Bad. Victor was a henchman for drug lord Gus Fring, and he was killed by Fring in the show's third season.

Batayeh's death has been met with sadness and tributes from his colleagues and fans.

"Mike was a talented actor and a great friend," said Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan. "He will be deeply missed."

"I'm so sorry to hear about Mike Batayeh's passing," said Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston. "He was a wonderful actor and a great guy. My thoughts are with his family and friends."

Batayeh is survived by his wife and two children.
